The Tree Board was formed by the Brandon City Council to:
To promote and protect the public health, safety, and general welfare by providing guidance and advice to the Brandon City Council for the regulation of the planting, maintenance, trimming, and removal of trees, shrubs, and other plants within the City of Brandon; and

To coordinate the activities of Arbor Day; and

To actively seek available grants for the purchase and maintenance of trees; and

To review the enforcement of Chapter 13 of the Brandon Municipal Code dealing with trees.


The Tree Board meets once a quarter.  Members are: Devin Coughlin, Mike Coughlin, Jim Reiter, Brian Heidbrink, and Alderwoman Jo Hausman.
