Annual Municipal Election

Next City Election is April 8, 2025.  This will be a city-wide election.  The question on the ballot will be: 

"For the City to stop the construction of the Aspen Park Road and Parking Lot Improvement Project and to require the City to construct East Ironwood from Sioux Boulevard to the west boundary of Aspen Park, overturning the City Council’s October 7, 2024 motion."

 

More details to come as closer to Election.  Ward 2 seat will be open as well.  

 

Your voting location may have changed due to redistricting after the 2020 Census.  Maps are below of the new boundaries. 

The City is in charge of Municipal Elections only.  

There are 3 voting locations in Brandon City Limits for Municipal Elections 

Ward 1 votes at Brandon City Council Chambers - 308 S Main Ave

Ward 2 votes at the Brandon Fire Station - 401 N Sioux Blvd

Ward 3 votes at the Brandon Municipal Golf Course - 2100 E Aspen Blvd

The County is in charge of Primary and General Elections and information is available Here.  Some residents will have different polling locations for these elections.  Visit the county website for more information or visit sdsos.gov to look up your polling site.

The School is in charge of school elections and have different polling places.
