Water Emergency-Lifted

8/6/24 Update: Water usage restrictions have been lifted.  You may resume to normal usage including lawn watering.  Remember there is no lawn watering from 10am-6pm and we are always on an odd/even watering schedule when we are in Stage 1: Gree.  See Conservation for details on lawn watering.

8/5/24 Update: Staff has 2 of the 3 pumps operational at this time. We are still asking residents to be mindful of usage. We are continuing with the NO LAWN WATERING. We will post updates when available.

8:23pm Update: Conserve, Conserve, Conserve. We are asking for citizens to conserve and we are hoping to have one pump running sometime tomorrow. NO LAWN WATERING....make sure sprinkler systems are shut off. If you are not home, please ask someone to shut it off for you. We will post updates when we have them.

The City of Brandon is requesting that all residents restrict their water usage as much as possible, until further notice. NO Lawn watering until further notice and restrict other usage where possible. There has been a major equipment failure at the City’s water treatment plant. The Public Works crew is working on correcting the problem. Some residents may experience low water pressure or some slight discoloration of the water.
