Ironwood Street & Aspen Park

The Ironwood Street Extension project will extend Ironwood Street into Aspen Park, creating an additional entrance and exit to improve access, safety, and traffic flow within the area. This extension is intended to support continued growth by enhancing connectivity between existing neighborhoods and developing areas, while also providing an alternative route for residents, emergency services, and park users. By improving circulation and reducing congestion on surrounding streets, the project will help create a more efficient and accessible transportation network for the community.

Bid letting was held on June 4, 2026 where eleven (11) bids were received. The low bid was submitted by SiteWorks, Inc. of Sioux Falls, SD with a bid in the amount of $1,170,966.65. The Engineer's estimate for the project was $1,800,000.00; therefore, the low bid was approximately 35% below the estimate.

Construction has started on this project and is anticipated to be completed before November.
