Holly Boulevard Roundabout

The Holly Boulevard Roundabout Project is located at the intersection of W. Holly Boulevard and S. River Park Avenue. The proposed intersection improvement was identified through the W. Holly Boulevard Corridor Study, which evaluated existing and future transportation needs along the corridor. 

The project is intended to improve traffic operations, safety, and long-term capacity at the intersection in response to increased development and anticipated future growth in the surrounding area. The proposed roundabout will provide an updated intersection configuration designed to accommodate current and future traffic volumes while improving overall connectivity and access along the W. Holly Boulevard corridor. 

The project is being funded through a combination of funding sources, including Tax Increment Financing (TIF) funds, local funds, developer contributions, South Dakota Housing Development Authority (SDHDA) funds, and American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds. The use of multiple funding sources allows the City to leverage available resources and advance this critical transportation improvement while minimizing the impact on any single funding source.
