Planning and Inspection

The City of Brandon’s first priority is to maintain public safety, and the Police Department is not the only area of city government doing that work. The Planning and Inspection Department is tasked with making sure buildings and other spaces are safe as well. We do this by ensuring builders have the proper permits and inspecting their work when it is completed. We also maintain lists of licensed residential contractors so you can vet the companies working on your property.
